It is a necessary chore to clean/descale my coffee maker. Taste and ick factor requires it. I usually use white vinegar. That is problematic as vinegar is corrosive and takes several brew cycles to get rid of the vinegar smell/taste. Plop one tablet in the water reservoir, watch it fizz, run the clean cycle or brew cycle, and then run 2 brew cycles to ensure all the cleaners are out and finished. Super easy, great company, and terrific product. I like it so much I bought the dishwasher cleaner and washing machine cleaner.

I have a 3-year-old Keurig and have been using vinegar every time the descale light came on, however, it took a lot of water to flush it out and was still left with film on my coffee. Thought I would give this a try and I have to say, I am impressed! Followed descale procedure using the recommended amount as stated on the bottle and this cleaned it to an almost new state with no aftertaste! Highly recommend.
